For years, Webfor’s live events have followed a familiar format: a topic, a slide deck, and a list of tactics you could take back to your team. Those sessions have their place, and we’ll keep doing them. But we’ve been missing something. You’ve heard a lot about what we do and much less about who we are.

That changes on Wednesday, October 21 at 10 a.m. PT, when the [Podcast Name] returns as a live, podcast-style conversation.

A Different Kind of Episode

This isn’t a webinar, and nobody will be presenting. Michael Cortez, Webfor’s Director of Growth Marketing, will sit down with Jason Wright for an open, largely unscripted conversation. Michael will bring questions to keep things moving. The rest will be a real conversation between two people who have spent a lot of time thinking about marketing, business and what it takes to build something that lasts.

What We’ll Talk About

A portrait of Jason Wright

The first episode is about the human story behind Webfor. Michael and Jason will cover:

  • Jason’s background, personal and professional, and the path that led him into marketing
  • His history with Webfor, from his first days with the agency to his role today
  • How Webfor became Webfor, including the decisions, turning points and growing pains that shaped the company
  • The lessons learned along the way, including the values and perspective that guide how we work with clients

You won’t leave with “10 SEO tips.” You’ll leave with a better sense of the people behind the work and why we do it the way we do.

Why We’re Doing This

Marketing agencies can easily become a list of services and case studies. We think the relationships behind the work matter just as much as the work itself. You should know who you’re trusting with your brand, how they think, and what they care about.

This podcast gives Webfor a consistent face and voice, with Jason taking that role first. Future episodes will keep the same approach: honest conversations and real stories, with the occasional hard-won lesson along the way.
