VIP Tickets approached Webfor needing a complete overhaul of their brand, website, and social media presence. They have their own stellar development team, so they asked us to provide branding and web design, user experience consulting, and social media strategy services.
Having outgrown their local focus in L.A. and Las Vegas, VIP Tickets is now competing with major players in the national online ticketing scene. We set out to introduce their new, hip web presence with energetic visuals, a breath-of-fresh-air user experience, and an exciting social campaign.

Rebranding VIP Tickets
The majority of our sketches and concepts focused on capturing a vibe that was VIP but still approachable and attractive to a new generation of ticket purchasers.
The final logo is a trendy line-based ticket outline inspired by the upscale clubs of Los Angeles and Las Vegas nightlife. The logo is often presented in friendly, bright colors.
As frequent sporting event and concert goers, we brought in a lot of experience from a buyer’s perspective.
We looked at what’s working and what isn’t in competitor experiences (ticketmaster, stubhub, etc) and put together an ideal feature set and wireframe for VIP Tickets.
VIP Tickets’ New Web Design
The resulting web design is a mobile-first experience that beautifully expands to desktop. Using a semi-flat, card-based design, the site will provide a very clear-cut user experience across all devices. Color coding and subtle animations help users identify and purchase the tickets they are looking for.
A simple three-step checkout process was conceptualized for desktop and mobile with conversion best practices in mind to minimize cart abandonment.
Armed with exciting and complete design language, VIP Tickets is now ready to take the next step of the project: development. The new site and brand is expected to launch in Summer 2015
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY
A top-to-bottom rebranding is about more than the logo and website design. The very language and strategy behind VIP Tickets’ approach to digital marketing had to be rethought, including their presence on social media.
After a deep dive into network and competitor analysis and a bit of brand voice guidance, we composed an in-depth, comprehensive strategy for their Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram campaigns.
At this time we are working toward and eagerly awaiting the relaunch of VIP Tickets mid-2015. We’re on the edge of our seats!
