Job Description

You’re an innovative designer looking to use your skills to design websites, logos, and various forms of collateral. You’re willing to work with a team of like-minded people who seek to produce the best end product possible. You’re not afraid of a challenge or hard deadlines. You can take your designs and present them effectively to clients of all sizes.

Job Responsibilities:

This is a part-time position: 20 hours per week with the opportunity to move to full-time as work permits (to be evaluated after 90 days).

  • Develop sitemaps for client website projects and be able to share your reasoning for architecture changes.
  • Create website designs in Adobe XD and present completed work to clients.
  • Have the ability to professionally guide conversations with clients to ensure we’re meeting the needs/objectives of every project.
  • Creation of logos and brand books for client projects using modern print-friendly standards.
  • Passionate for branding and storytelling using various forms of visual media (websites, logos, brand books, social media graphics).
  • Generation of social media graphics for clients.
  • Leverage the use of AI to streamline workflow.
  • Maintain a highly organized design system both in XD and folder structures.
  • Fiercely independently, but also works well in a team.
  • Self-managed and disciplined with note-taking, time tracking, and other related duties.

Qualifications and Characteristics of the ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years of agency experience preferred.
  • Has a strong portfolio of work showcasing web design and branding capabilities.
  • Familiarity with design workflows in an agency environment.
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and capable of appreciating both positive and constructive feedback.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.
  • Familiar with development best practices and has the ability to modify some code on a website.
  • Capable of leading client meetings and internal discussions around projects.
  • Innovative thinker who looks for opportunities to improve processes and systems.
  • Some knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and SEO are a plus.
  • Not afraid to learn new things and be challenged.
