Hey there! I’m Mikko. I’m an unrelentingly curious problem solver with a passion for helping people. Before joining the Webfor team in December 2019, I held a variety of positions in a number of industries. I grew up on a farm, worked in a movie theater, at a hotel front desk, in a home for the developmentally disabled, and cooked on the line in kitchens. I also booked, promoted, and produced live music for several years before returning to school to get a B.S. in marketing in 2017. After graduating, I worked as a freelance marketing consultant while staying home and keeping a bouncing baby alive and (mostly) happy. I performed a variety of services including social media management, graphic design, search engine optimization, as well as development, execution, and analysis of marketing initiatives for a diverse set of clients.

I lived in Chicago for seven years until 2018 when my wife, 18 month old, and I set out across the western US with a travel trailer and a GMC Yukon for 4 months to find where we wanted our next chapter to take place. We quickly fell in love with the Portland area and moved here in January 2019. I’m thrilled to be bringing my diverse work background, sense of adventure, and passion to Webfor and our clients.
